Remmelt S. Smid: Traditional Confectionery from the Netherlands

Remmelt S. Smid is a Dutch company from Groningen that sells traditional confectionery and revives old traditions. Since 2001, Remmelt S. Smid has been working closely with various renowned family businesses that have been producing unique, iconic quality products for over 100 years. Under its own name "Het Hanze Huis," the company offers a selection of traditionally made confectionery such as liquorice, peppermint, and raspberry candies.

What makes Remmelt S. Smid's confectionery so special:

1. Traditional Production: Products are made according to centuries-old recipes.
2. High-Quality Ingredients: The use of first-class raw materials ensures excellent taste.
3. Authentic Experience: Classic flavors bring back nostalgic memories.

Remmelt S. Smid's sweets evoke childhood memories of a Saturday visit to the market in Enschede or Hengelo, a trip to Amsterdam, or a summer holiday at the campsite on Ameland. Whether it's salty liquorice herring, hard salami liquorice, peppermint, or soft fruit gums with raspberry flavor – the confectionery from Het Hanze Huis is available in 450g storage tins, small travel tins, and paper-wrapped refills.
